1. Safety

We value your confidence in the provision of your personal information, so we strive to protect it through action. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure and reliable, and we can not guarantee your absolute safety.

2. Personal data

If you log in to 'Profile', added locations and confirmed locations as well as your e-mail address will be saved. The password is encrypted and is not visible. Stored data can only be read / deleted by the profile owner. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

The protection of your personal data is very important to us.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information from accidental loss, unauthorized access, unauthorized use, alteration or disclosure. However, the Internet is an open system and we can not guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to use your personal information.

3. Location data

We need access to the location of your device. In case of a request, we will collect your current location via GPS in order to give you fast information about your immediate surroundings. Data about your location will only be used to process your request. Your location data will not be saved.

AdMob uses location data for matching advertising.

4. Rules

SMOX asks you to abide by the rules listed. If these are not adhered to, sanctions are issued to the respective user.

- Add only existing places.

- No unnecessary reporting or rating of a place.

- Offensive users are prohibited and will be prosecuted.

- Only one profile may be created per user.

- Spamming in any way will not be tolerated.

5. Information, deletion, blocking

At any time you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing as well as a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data. For further information on personal data, please contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

6. Registration

By registering the members become identifiable with each other. Persons over the age of 18 are admitted to the network of SMOX. Younger people are unfortunately not allowed to participate in SMOX.

At the same time, every user is only allowed to register once for SMOX and insures by registering that he is not yet a member of SMOX.

In order to register with SMOX, a user must provide complete and accurate information requested in the registration form, unless marked as voluntary.

We wish that members register with their real name. If the name is not correct, an account deletion can be made.

The e-mail address is required so that we can contact you in writing. Furthermore, the e-mail address is part of the access data to SMOX.

7. Sanctions for violations

The compliance with our rules is of considerable importance for the functionality of SMOX. Therefore, SMOX will impose sanctions on a member if and to the extent that there are concrete indications that a member violates these rules, legal regulations, third party rights or morality. In addition, SMOX is entitled to remove corresponding contents from SMOX without prior notice.

When choosing the sanction to be imposed, SMOX will include the legitimate interests of the affected user in the decision and, among other things, take into account whether the violation was culpably committed or an unjustified misconduct exists. If a culpable violation has been committed, the following sanctions may apply, depending on the seriousness of the misconduct:

Warning of the affected user

partial to complete deletion of a user's content

Restriction on the use of SMOX features

temporary blocking of the user

final suspension of the user

A permanently blocked user is not allowed to join SMOX again in justified individual cases, however, an exception can be made.

8. Installation and permissions

For the technical functionality of the SMOX App, SMOX requires various access options and information.

Depending on the operating system, a permission to access individual functions and information is requested during the installation process. The access permissions include, but are not limited to, location, notifications, and mobile data.

Under the settings of the terminal, these authorizations can sometimes be manually revoked. It should be noted, however, that the SMOX app can only be used without restrictions or not at all. Depending on the app version, permissions are requested before or after the installation.

9. Duration of storage

With regard to the retention period, we delete personal data as soon as their storage is no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the original purpose and there are no longer any statutory retention periods. The statutory retention periods ultimately form the criterion for the final duration of the storage of personal data. After the deadline, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted. If retention periods exist, processing is restricted by blocking the data.

10. Collection and use of information

For a better experience while using SMOX, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information requested by us will be stored on your device and will not be collected by us in any way.

The application uses third-party services that may collect information that identifies you.
